Summer has flown by, and I hope it gifted you many wonderful memories and emotions! Reflecting on this past season, I see how much work has gone into the Kerkyra Culinary & Wellbeing project, and I’m delighted with how fruitful it has been.
A month ago, even before Villa Kerkyra was officially open to guests, our team successfully hosted our first private celebration, and it was truly magical.
The event was a tribute to the art of detail and bespoke experiences. Our team was honoured to create this special occasion, making it both unforgettable and unique.
The evening’s ambiance was crafted with many thoughtful touches: Lefkara lace napkins (from the Cypriot village of Lefkara, where artisans have passed down lace-making skills for centuries) added a traditional elegance to the table, while amphoras filled with fresh green lemons brought vibrant colours and a delicate citrus aroma.
The floral arrangements reflected a simple elegance, matching the guests’ dress code.
Guests savoured the offerings—each dish made from seasonal ingredients: wood-fired pizza with pear and summer truffles, carpaccio of ripe Mavri tomatoes, homemade limoncello-cured salmon, and hand-made pasta using our olive oil, grilled lamb ribs, and a large raspberry tiramisu.

Pasta Dough Recipe
Knead a firm dough, then chill for a few hours before rolling. Roll and cut, sprinkling with semolina as needed.

Transporting a Kawai grand piano for the evening was no easy feat, but the sunset, filled with the beautiful sounds of live piano music echoing across the surroundings, was well worth the effort.
